Project Overview
In 2022, a backyard deck and outdoor kitchen were added to a Magnolia home to create a stylish and functional space for entertaining. The design incorporated custom features, durable materials, and modern aesthetics.
The scope included a large composite deck with built-in seating and storage, covered patio with ceiling fans and LED lighting, outdoor kitchen with grill, sink, storage, and prep areas, and custom pergola and landscaping enhancements.
Challenges & Solutions
The primary challenge involved integrating outdoor kitchen and deck with uneven backyard terrain. Custom foundation and leveling ensured safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing design throughout the space.
Design & Layout Improvements
The deck layout was optimized for entertaining and social flow with multiple zones. The outdoor kitchen and prep area were designed for efficiency and usability during gatherings. The covered patio and pergola provide shade and weather protection year-round. Integrated landscaping enhances privacy and visual appeal of the outdoor space.
